A small independent pre-school in a spacious and welcoming church hall, run by two local parents since 2008
We are inside the United Reformed Church on Portsmouth Road, directly across from St Nicolas' Infant School, and we have strong connections with them. We are a five minute walk from the town centre, and there is parking for anyone who would rather drive.
Our bright and airy playroom encourages free play, and the outdoor area is open to the children every day. We are open five days a week.
We are a small and welcoming pre-school, and our guiding principle is learning through play.
We take children from two years old and accept all the main forms of Government funding, including the 15 and 30 hour entitlements, Funded Early Education for Two-year-olds, Tax-Free Childcare and childcare voucher schemes.
The people in the hall
Every one of us holds an enhanced DBS check and is trained in safeguarding. Several of the team first walked through the door as parents.
