Thea Arthur
Co-owner & Pre-School Manager
Although I have spent most of my adult life in Guildford, I moved around a lot as a child, going to variety of schools. I take great delight that my 3 ( now adult) children have grown up in one house, attended all local schools, sitting A levels with friends they've had since Child's Play. I have a strong love - hate relationship with exercise and my treadmill. I adore holidays, America , Elvis Presley and Batman, and working with your children !
Susan Raftery
Co-owner & Business Manager - BSc (Hons)
I live in Guildford and have three children (all of whom went to Child's Play) and a black Labrador called Poppy. That all leaves me with little free time! But I try to find time for long countryside walks in the local area - my favourite is Puttenham Common. I am proud of Child's Play and love working with all the families who come through our door.
Diane Crowe
Deputy Manager; Level 3 qualified; First Aid
Hi, I'm Diane. Each of my children started their formal education here and I have been here ever since! I honestly think children in this age group (2 to 5 years) are the best: they are their own person; they're funny, accepting of everyone and just a delight. In my spare time I like to read, to garden and, like everyone, to cook and to eat. I enjoy walking our dog, Dylan, and love the seaside. But I hate having my photo taken!
Natalie Day
Deputy Manager, Level 3 qualified; First Aid; Forest School Leader
I am a busy Mum of twin girls. I am very family oriented and we spend most of our free time with our extended family and friends - we love exploring outdoors and taking woodland walks. My favourite place is beside the sea - I hope to live on the coast one day! My hobbies include going to the Theatre and concerts, as I love music. I go to Rock Choir once a week to have fun and unwind. I am a fan of books - I love to read and get lost in a world of imagination!
Kim Phillips

I love spending time with my family and enjoying time in and around Guildford. When at home I love to bake and try out lots of new recipes. I enjoy running and Pilates, as well as following my local team from home on the Wirral, the mighty Tranmere Rovers!
Inderjit Dhami

Hi I'm Indi, I have 2 boys and a girl who keep me very busy. I enjoy going on walks along the canal behind my house. I spend most of my time socialising with my friends and family.
Roxy Knights
Level 3 qualified; studying for Degree in Early Childhood Studies; First Aid
I am a mum to my son jakub and love going on adventures with my family, especially exploring the beaches in Cornwall! I am currently studying for my degree in early childhood education and have just taken up boogie bounce and barre pilaties (with any luck, this will be a regular hobby). I love summer and cold crisp days however i am not a huge fan of rain!
Mel de Chazal
SENCO, Qualified Teacher Status, First Aid
I am mum to two girls (both of whom went to Child’s Play) and at home I have two cats, four chickens and a very patient husband. I love exploring in the countryside with my family, usually collecting various items to do something crafty with ‘later’ and generally like experimenting with making things from scratch (with varying success). I am very excited about forest school and love that the kids get to explore the wonders of nature and learn so much through play (something I am trying to tell my adult self to do much more often!).
Katy Duquenoy
First Aid
Hi, I'm Katy, I'm married and the mother of 3 boys and owner of 2 spaniels. My youngest, Ben, is here at Child's Play now. In the spare time I get with all of those I enjoy baking, taking long walks with the family and dogs and eating out. I also enjoy catching up and relaxing with friends. Over the last 9 years, I have become a dab hand at building complicated train tracks and constructing massive lego installations and know far too much about every Fireman Sam and Paw Patrol episode than a person possibly should.
Núria Rovira
Volunteer helper, Bsc in Early Childhood Education (LEVEL 6 QUALIFIED) / Bsc in Music, speciality Flute

I’m from a little village near Barcelona in Spain, where I finished my degree in Music two years ago and my degree in Early Childhood Education (level 6) one year ago. Then, one month after that, I came here to England to work as an au pair with my lovely host family.  I love spending time with children and I adore playing the flute and the cello and singing songs.
